Nordstrom to open two new stores in US

US-based retail chain Nordstrom plans to open a two new Nordstrom full-line stores in the states of Florida and Texas.

The proposed Florida store will occupy 124,000ft² of space, spread over two levels and will be located at St. Johns Town Center in Jacksonville.

Nordstrom's Texas store will be located at The Woodlands Mall in The Woodlands, and will occupy 138,000ft² of space.

Both the stores are scheduled to open in the fall of 2014.

Founded in 1901, Nordstrom operates 231 stores in 31 states of the US, including 117 full-line stores, 110 Nordstrom Racks, two Jeffrey boutiques, one treasure&bond store and one clearance store.
