Mexican retailer Sanborns to deploy Authentic payment solution developed by Alaric

Mexican retail major Sanborns has expanded its payment options by deploying the new 'Authentic' solution developed by Alaric International across its outlets.

The new platform allows customers to make customizations to avoid vendor lock-in and can be deployed for multiple purposes.

A high performance intelligent transaction services hub, Authenic, will manage all payments arising from Grupo Sanborns multiple online stores while also handling its bricks-and-mortar transactions across México and Central America.

Payment for airline tickets, credit card bills, insurance, utility bills and mobile top ups will also be routed through the new payment paltform by Sanborns .

Commenting on the installation of new service Sanborns CIO Alberto Huacuja remarked that payments platform is always a crital system for a retailer and that it was happy with the flexibility offered by Authentic.

"Being able to offer our customers the convenience of a wide variety of cards and services is an essential ingredient in our success at Sanborns.

"Authentic is designed to be easily customizable by end users such as ourselves, which means we can take complete control of the system going forward," concluded Huacuja.

Grupo Sanborns currently totals 10,000 points-of-sales in Mexico and Central America with Sanborns, Sears, Mixup, Dorians and Saks stores under its portfolio.
