Stein Mart opens six new department stores in US

Stein Mart, an upscale, off-price specialty store chain, has unveiled six stores in US this fall, in a move to strengthen the brand's presence across the country.

Of the proposed seven stores, four are new outlets and three are relocated stores. The new stores are located at Surprise, Arizona; Katy, Texas and Charlottesville, Virginia while relocated stores opened at McAllen, Texas; Biloxi, Missouri; and San Dimas, California.

The Surprise store is located at 13712 W. Bell Road, in Surprise Town center; Katy store is located at 6565 S. Fry Road, in Grand Lakes Market Place; while the Charlottesville store is situated at 100 Shoppers World Court, in Shoppers World.

The McAllen store is located at 800 E. Expressway 83, Suite 200, in Las Tiendas Plaza; Biloxi store is located at 2650 Beach Blvd., Suite 36, in Edgewater Village; and San Dimas store is located at 826 W. Arrow Highway, in San Dimas Marketplace.

Further, the chain will open another store in Tucson, Arizona on 8 November 2012.

Founded in 1908, Stein Mart is a nationwide department store chain based in Jacksonville, Florida. The chain retails apparel, footwear, linens, home décor and fashion accessory.
