Under the plan, the retailer will open three outlets in new locations in Miami, Washington, D.C. and Las Vegas this spring.

The remaining seven new store openings in 2014 will be announced this summer, with six scheduled to open in October and one in November.

With the new store openings, Stein Mart's total nationwide store count will increase to more than 270.

Besides store openings, Stein Mart will move six existing stores to new locations.

Further, the retailer is looking to close two stores in 2014, with closures at Fernandina Beach, Florida; and Brentwood, Tennessee already completed.

Stein Mart's stores carry recent trends in clothing for both men and women. Additionally, home décor, accessories, and shoes are all available at discounted prices.
