Department store chain Kohl’s to open three new store in Connecticut, US

US department store chain Kohl’s plans to open three new stores in Connecticut, US.

To be located in the 42-acre Litchfield Crossings retail center at 169 Danbury Road, Route 7, the New Milford store will occupy 64.000ft² of space.

The Berlin store will be located in the Brickyard Plaza on the corner of the Berlin Turnpike and Deming Road.

Killingly Plaza will host the Killingly store, at the intersection of North Main Street and Hartford Pike.

Kohl's senior public relations coordinator Sydney Hofer told the website that the three new proposed outlets will be unveil in New Milford, Berlin and Killingly.

Kohl's is looking to fill about 125 jobs at each of the three new stores, Hofer added.

Wisconsin-based Kohl's currently operates 1,134 department stores in 49 states and employs about 136,000 people, 107,000 of which are part-time workers.
