British retailer M&S to open new store at Cheshire Oaks, England

Published 27 August 2012

British retailer Marks and Spencer (M&S) will open its proposed new store at Cheshire Oaks in north-west England.

The 151,000ft² store will be the second biggest store in M&S's portfolio after its 170,000ft² flagship store at Marble Arch, reported Financial Times.

M&S said that the new store will feature its latest store design as it continues to renovate stores under the £500m programme outlined by chief executive Marc Bolland.

The new store will include shop within shop areas for M&S's sub-brands, improved food halls, a new home shop and beauty areas as well as new look home department.

The website said that the store also will showcase some of the ways the internet is being integrated with physical stores to boost online sales.
